Title : Senior Civil Engineer (Ref#CE25337)

Description
Our Client is a top multinational contractor in the Construction industry, with offices and projects in a number of countries. They are the lead contractor on large road project in South East Asia and are now seeking 10 senior engineers to supervise a six year project.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leading and supervising an engineering team and coordinate with other teams

  • Research and advise on the best engineering solution to meet with a client's needs and budget

  • Produce detailed designs and documentation for the construction and implementation of civil engineering projects

  • Organise the delivery of materials, plant and equipment needed for the construction project and supervise labour

  • Coordinate and direct testing of materials

  • Establish detailed programs for the coordination of site activities

  • Assist government bodies in preparing yearly works programs within set budgets, e.g. car parks, drainage, roads or sewerage

  • Advise and plan on the control and minimisation of air, water and solid waste pollution and the management of water

  • Analyse risks associated with natural disasters including wind, earthquake, fire and floods, and design structures and services to meet appropriate standards

Qualification:
Candidates must be a Degree holder in Civil Engineering/Construction - disciplines in engineering, quantity surveying, planners, contracts managers etc. with a key emphasis on Roads/Highways construction, bridge construction and tunneling. More than 5 years experiences in related fields and a track record of having worked on large such type projects is a must.
